St Aloysius University signs MoU to establish Centre for Religion and Culture

Mangaluru, May 7: As a first step towards establishing the Centre for Religion and Culture (CRC) at St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with Karnataka Theological College, Mangaluru, on May 5.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Dr Praveen Martis SJ, honourable vice chancellor; Dr Watson, principal, Karnataka Theological College; Fr William Marcel, director, Radio Sarang and secretary, Centre for Religion and Culture (CRC); along with other esteemed members of the CRC Advisory Board.

This initiative was spearheaded by Dr Mona Mendonca, head, department of history and joint secretary, Centre for Religion and Culture (CRC).

The Centre for Religion and Culture aims to foster academic engagement, interfaith dialogue, and research on the role of religion and culture in nation building, with a special focus on the contributions of the Christian community.
