Mangaluru, May 10: The much-awaited Konkani comedy entertainer 'Toxench Zanv', earlier titled 'Amen', is all set for its grand public release on May 15. The film has been written, directed, and edited by Rayan Magneto, who hails from Kirem parish of the Mangalore diocese.

Rayan Magneto has already carved a special place in the hearts of Konkani audiences through his earlier blockbuster comedy films 'Lucky Draw 777' and 'Fondacho Misther', both of which received tremendous audience support and impressive box office collections. Encouraged by the overwhelming appreciation from film lovers, the young filmmaker ventured into this new project within a short span of time.

However, the journey of the film was not entirely smooth. Certain miscreants attempted to create controversies surrounding the original title of the movie on social media platforms, forcing the team to rename the film as 'Toxench Zanv'. Despite these hurdles, the team remained determined and successfully completed the project for release.

The premiere shows of the movie are scheduled as follows:

  • May 12: Udupi and Kundapur

  • May 13: Mangaluru

  • May 14: Deralakatte

The film is expected to deliver rib-tickling comedy blended with an emotional and divine climax. Rayan’s earlier films were widely appreciated for their excellent situational comedy, engaging screenplay, and lively performances, and audiences are eagerly expecting another entertaining cinematic experience through this latest venture.

One of the major attractions of the film is the presence of veteran Goan actor John D'Silva, a renowned name in Goan films and stage dramas, along with talented actress Velriza Pereira. Both actors have reportedly delivered remarkable performances in the movie.

Despite several challenges during production, 'Toxench Zanv', regarded by many as one of the most anticipated Konkani films of the year, is gearing up for release in major theatres across Puttur, Deralakatte, Mangaluru, Padubidri, Udupi, Manipal, and Kundapur. Fans and supporters are eagerly waiting to witness this much-talked-about entertainer on the big screen.

Rayan Magneto is considered one of the promising young filmmakers in the Konkani entertainment industry today. The film's team has requested all film lovers, well-wishers, and members of the Konkani community to support them by attending the premiere shows and theatrical screenings to help make this film a grand success.
