Bantwal: Auto-rickshaw overturns into plantation, passengers escape unhurt

Bantwal, May 13: Passengers of an auto-rickshaw had a narrow escape after their vehicle overturned at Kinnimajalu in Ira village of Ullal taluk during the wee hours.

The incident reportedly took place around 2 am. Four people, including the driver, were travelling in the rickshaw. They were on their way back home to Chattekallu after attending the Jatra Mahotsava at the Udyavara Mada Kshetra.

According to sources, the driver lost control of the auto-rickshaw, causing it to veer off the road and overturn into an adjacent plantation.

Fortunately, the driver and all the passengers escaped the mishap safely without sustaining any injuries.
