Udupi, May 15: A tragic road accident claimed the life of 12-year-old Abdul Rehman, a class 6 student.
The incident occurred near Sixth Cross, Jyothi Nagar in Nejar, when the boy was reportedly crossing the road and was hit by a car.
He sustained serious injuries in the accident and was immediately rushed to a private hospital in the city. However, doctors declared him brought dead.
Abdul Rehman was known as a talented student at Salihat Educational Institution. The management, administrators, teaching staff, and students of the institution have expressed deep sorrow over his untimely demise.
