Mangaluru: Cletus Lobo elected president of Episcopal City Varado Catholic Sabha

Mangaluru, May 19: Cletus Lobo of Alake has been elected as the president of the Episcopal City Varado of Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh during the election held on May 13.

Jesintha Lobo was elected as the secretary, while Steven Rodrigues was chosen as the treasurer of the Varado committee.

Former president Ida Furtado, along with members for the remaining seven positions, was also elected during the meeting.

Fr John Vas, who serves as the spiritual director, will continue to guide the Varado as its mentor.

Representing the Central Committee of Catholic Sabha, Stany Lobo attended the programme as the observer and conducted the handing-over ceremony in the presence of members of the zone.
