Gaur crashes onto moving car on Bethoda bypass, occupants escape unhurt

Panaji, May 20: A major accident took place on the Bethoda bypass road after a gaur suddenly leapt onto a moving car, causing extensive damage to the vehicle and triggering panic among commuters.

According to preliminary information, the wild animal unexpectedly emerged onto the road and landed on top of the moving car. The force of the impact badly damaged the front section and roof of the vehicle.

The incident created chaos in the area as passing motorists and local residents rushed to the scene moments after the accident. Despite the severity of the collision, all passengers inside the car escaped safely without sustaining any injuries.

The sudden appearance of the gaur on the busy bypass has once again raised concerns over wildlife movement near roadways and the safety of motorists travelling through forest-linked routes.
