Mangaluru, May 23: District Congress spokesperson Abhishek Ullal and Dakshina Kannada District NSUI president Suhan Alva criticized the state government over the alleged question paper leak issue during a press conference held at the Congress Bhavan in Mallikatte on Saturday.

Addressing the media, the Congress leaders alleged that the incident has caused anxiety and uncertainty among thousands of students and their parents across the state. They claimed that repeated irregularities in the education sector have affected students' academic future and called for immediate corrective measures.

The leaders urged the government to conduct a transparent and impartial investigation into the alleged leak and take strict legal action against those responsible, irrespective of their political affiliation or position. They stated that justice and accountability should be ensured for all and that the interests of students must remain the highest priority.

The Congress representatives further alleged that the government had failed to adequately address the concerns of affected students and their families. They stressed that educational issues should not be politicized and called upon the authorities to restore public confidence through fair and transparent action.

The leaders also appealed to law enforcement agencies to carry out a thorough investigation and ensure that those found guilty are held accountable in accordance with the law.

The press conference focused on the need to safeguard students' future, strengthen transparency in the education system, and prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

This version keeps the report balanced by clearly attributing the criticism and allegations to Congress leaders rather than presenting them as established facts.
