Mangaluru, Jun 3: ‘Kam Kamala..Vim Vimala…’, a song from the upcoming movie ‘Kajja’, has been released and is already grabbing attention with its catchy tune. The dancing number, composed by Likith Prasad Shetty, is expected to make it to the hit list.
The movie stars Siddharth Shetty and Dr Sahana Sudhakar in lead roles and has been directed by Siddharth Shetty and Jishnu S Menon. Siddharth, who had earlier impressed audiences with the movie ‘Tudar’, is hopeful of making a mark once again through ‘Kajja’.
The song ‘Kam Kamala’, written by Mohan Raj, has been sung by Mallika Matti, Vidya Suvarna and Prakash Mahadevan. Actors Aravind Bolar, Sandeep Shetty Manibettu and others have performed energetic dance steps in the song. The choreography has been done by Vijeth R Nayak.
Blending comedy, thriller, action and love story elements, the movie carries the tagline ‘Karma Returns’. Multi-lingual actor Vasishta Simha has acted in the film, marking his first Tulu movie appearance. Mohan Raj has written the story, screenplay and dialogues for ‘Kajja’, while the film has been produced by Vishanth Menezes.
Produced under the Sumukh Productions banner, ‘Kajja’ is set to hit theatres on June 11. The first premiere show will be held on May 27 at DRC Cinemas in Mysuru.
The cast includes Aravind Bolar, Umesh Mijar, Jayashree, Shwetha Kotyan, Sahana Sudhakar, Vensita Dias, Mohan Raj, Gautham Bangera, Suvarna Poojary, Savitha Anchan, Shaheen Sheikh and Sannidhi Shetty.
The film’s music has been composed by Likith Prasad Shetty, cinematography is by Chandu Meppayur, and editing by Binu Napoleon. Choreography has been handled by Vijeth R Nayak, while action direction is by Yoganand.
