Kundapur: MITK MBA department observes World Environment Day

Kundapur, Jun 5: The Department of MBA at Moodlakatte Institute of Technology Kundapur (MITK), observed World Environment Day on June 5, with a series of awareness and cleanliness activities aimed at promoting environmental conservation among students.

As part of the programme, a video presentation was screened for MBA students highlighting the adverse effects of environmental degradation and emphasizing the importance of protecting and preserving nature. Students were also administered a pledge to actively contribute towards safeguarding the environment and promoting sustainable practices.

Further, the students participated in a campus cleanliness drive, collecting litter and cleaning the surroundings of the college premises as a gesture of environmental responsibility.

The event was coordinated by assistant professor Chaitali, who oversaw the activities conducted as part of the World Environment Day celebrations.

The programme was attended by Dr Suchitra Poojary, head of the MBA department, along with other faculty members.
