Udupi, Jun 6: World Environment Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Glowinstar Integrated School. The programme began with a prayer, followed by a poem recitation by Rishab of class 9. Subsequently, Nehan, a student of class 9 delivered an informative speech highlighting the significance of World Environment Day and the need to protect our environment.

The principal addressed the gathering and spoke about the importance of environmental conservation and encouraged students to adopt eco-friendly habits in their daily lives.

A colouring competition was conducted for students of LKG, UKG, and class 1 and dressed in green attire, symbolizing their love for nature. They participated with great excitement and coloured the drawings beautifully, showcasing their creativity and enthusiasm. The activity was thoroughly enjoyed by all the young learners.

The celebration created awareness about environmental protection and inspired students to contribute towards a cleaner, greener, and healthier planet.
