Mangaluru, Jun 6: A two in one new Konkani liturgical hymns album, ‘Kalza Bhokti’, and ‘Argam Stuti’ composed by Fr Walter D'Souza and Fr Maxim D'Souza, was officially released today on the occasion of the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi) during the Eucharistic celebration led by Fr Maxim D'Souza.
The newly launched 16 GB pen drive contains the complete ‘Kalza Bhokti’ album featuring 14 liturgical hymns and 5 devotional songs, along with hymns and songs from the priests' previous 18 albums. The collection is intended to enrich liturgical celebrations and devotional life among the faithful.

The initiative carries a noble social purpose. Proceeds from the sale of the pen drives will be utilised for the 5th house under the silver jubilee housing project of Fr Walter D'Souza. Through this charitable project, four houses have already been constructed for economically disadvantaged families who were previously living in rented accommodation in Alangar, Fr Walter's former parish.
The construction of these four houses, undertaken at a total cost of approximately Rs 50 lac, has been made possible through the personal savings of Fr Walter D'Souza and Fr Maxim D'Souza, as well as generous contributions from family members, friends, and well-wishers.
The 16 GB pen drive is priced at Rs 600 and offers listeners a rich collection of liturgical and devotional music spanning the priests' musical ministry over the years.
Fr Walter D'Souza and Fr Maxim D'Souza have appealed to the faithful, music lovers, and well-wishers to support this humanitarian initiative by purchasing the pen drives and contributing generously towards the ongoing housing project. Their support, the priests said, will not only help provide shelter to deserving families but also encourage the promotion of sacred music and Christian values through song.
The release of ‘Kalza Bhokti’ stands as a beautiful blend of faith, music, and social commitment, reflecting the priests' dedication to both spiritual enrichment and charitable service.
