Mangaluru, Jun 8: Kshamaya Amin of Grade VIII and Adithi Amin of Grade III of Ladyhill School (ICSE), Urwa, Mangaluru, achieved remarkable success at the Karnataka State Kids Athletics Meet 2026, held in celebration of World Kids Athletics Day. The prestigious championship took place at Sree Kanteerava Stadium, Bengaluru, on June 5 and 6 bringing together young athletes from across the state.
Competing in the Under-14 Girls and Under-8 Girls categories respectively, both students showcased remarkable athletic talent, determination, and sportsmanship.









Adithi Amin emerged as one of the brightest stars of the championship in the Under-8 category while representing Mangala Athletics. She secured first place in the 50-metre race and first place in the Broad Jump, winning two gold medals and bringing laurels to her school with her exceptional achievement at such a young age.
Adding to the school's glory, Kshamaya Amin excelled in the Under-14 category with an impressive display of versatility and endurance. She clinched first place in the 600-metre race, second place in the 60-metre race, and second place in the 4 × 100-metre relay, demonstrating her dedication, perseverance, and competitive spirit throughout the championship.
These remarkable accomplishments reflect the hard work, discipline, and passion of both the athletes. Their success is a testament not only to their individual commitment but also to the unwavering support and guidance of their coaches, parents, and mentors.
Kshamaya Amin and Adithi Amin, daughters of Pradeep K and Latha Amin, are being trained by international athletics coach Dinesh Kundar.
