Beltangady: Three escape with minor injuries after car plunges into roadside drain

Beltangady, Jun 9: Three persons had a narrow escape after a car veered off the road and fell into a deep roadside drain at Kashibettu on National Highway near Beltangady on Tuesday.

According to reports, the car, which was carrying three occupants, went out of the driver's control and plunged into the deep drain alongside the highway.

The occupants sustained minor injuries in the mishap and were shifted to a private hospital with the assistance of local residents.

Police personnel visited the spot and conducted an inspection.
