Mangaluru, Jun 11: The much-awaited Tulu movie Kajja was released in theatres across Karnataka on Thursday, June 11, amid great excitement and celebration. The grand inaugural show was held at Bharath Cinemas, Mangaluru, where the event was officially launched with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp.

The inauguration witnessed the presence of several distinguished guests, film personalities, industry leaders, well-wishers, and enthusiastic fans. Among those present were Vijaykumar Kodialbail, Harish Krishnan, Pradeep Kumar Karkal, Fr Clifford Sequeira, Mohan Raj, Prakash Pandeshwar, Prem Shetty, and many other prominent personalities from various fields.

The event also saw the participation of the film's cast and crew, actors from the Tulu film industry, supporters of regional cinema, and a large gathering of movie lovers who came together to celebrate the release of the much-anticipated film.

Addressing the gathering, the guests congratulated the entire team of Kajja for their hard work and dedication. They expressed confidence that the movie would receive immense support from audiences and wished the film great success at the box office. They also appreciated the efforts of the makers in promoting and strengthening Tulu cinema through quality storytelling and entertainment.

Produced by Vishanth Menezes under the Sumukha Productions banner, Kajja is directed by Jishnu S Menon and Siddharth Shetty. The film has generated significant buzz among moviegoers for its unique blend of drama, romance, action, comedy, and social themes. The film carries the tagline ‘Karma Returns’.
