Mumbai, Mar 16 (IANS): After a gap of over two decades, Iraqi Airways Friday announced resumption of its services connecting Mumbai with Baghdad and Najaf in Iraq, an official said.
The inaugural flight from Baghdad/Najaf to Mumbai will arrive here Sunday (March 18) at 1.30 a.m. (local time).
The Baghdad/Najaf-Mumbai flight will be twice a week -- on Wednesdays and Sundays. The service will arrive here at 1.30 a.m. and depart at 2.30 a.m.
The service shall be operated by a Boeing 737-400 with economy and business class configurations.
The official pointed out that resumption of services between India and Iraq would give a fillip to trade, business and pilgrimage in the two countries.
