Udupi, Jun 19: Madhava Kripa School, Manipal, felicitated its student Anshel Sharon in recognition of his exceptional bravery and presence of mind in preventing a potential accident involving a school bus. The special program, held on June 19, at school premises, celebrated his courageous act and aimed to inspire students to act responsibly during emergencies.
Anshel had noticed that something was amiss with his school bus driver and reacted promptly, helping avert what could have turned into a major mishap. His timely intervention was widely appreciated by the school management, staff and guests.













The program began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by the school march band escorting the dignitaries and school administrators to the stage. Students, teachers and guests gathered in large numbers, creating an atmosphere of pride and appreciation.
The highlight of the event was the felicitation of Anshel Sharon by the dignitaries. Speaking on the occasion, Dr H S Ballal, president AGE, pro-chancellor of MAHE, Manipal, praised Anshel's courage and alertness, stating that his presence of mind had helped prevent a major disaster. He remarked that such unforeseen incidents could occur at any time and stressed that students should learn from Anshel's example of responsibility and quick thinking. Dr Ballal further emphasized the importance of recognizing and appreciating such acts of courage, noting that encouragement motivates young people to become responsible citizens.
