Awareness campaign held at Yenepoya Naturopathy & Yogic Science College on International Yoga Day

Mangaluru, Jun 19: On the occasion of the 12th International Yoga Day, Yenepoya Naturopathy and Yogic Science College and Hospital, Naringana, in association with National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit-I, organized a Yoga Awareness Campaign at Manjanady and Natekal Junction on June 19 from 10 AM to 11 AM.

The campaign was conducted with the objective of creating awareness among the local community about the importance of yoga and its role in promoting holistic health and well-being. Students of the Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) actively participated in the programme and educated the public on the benefits of regular yoga practice, stress management, disease prevention, and the adoption of a healthy lifestyle.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr Ajith K, assistant professor and NSS Programme officer, Yenepoya naturopathy and Yogic Science College and Hospital, Naringana.

The awareness campaign received a positive response from the public, who appreciated the efforts of the students in promoting the message of yoga and wellness in the community.

The programme concluded with a call to incorporate yoga into daily life for better physical, mental, and social health.
