New Delhi, Mar 17 (IANS): Railway Minister Dinesh Trivedi Saturday said he is ready to resign provided his Trinamool Congress party conveys it to him properly.
"I will abide by the party's decision. If I wanted to stay in my chair, I could have. I don't want to be humiliated like this. I have done my bit. Let them convey it to me properly. I will resign in a day or two," Trivedi told CNN-IBN news channel.
Trivedi, whose decision to hike passenger fares in the rail budget had angered Trinamool chief Mamata Banerjee, has said he will resign if Prime Minister Manmohan Singh or Banerjee asked him to do so.
