Mangaluru, Jun 20: The Investiture Ceremony of Ryan International School, Kulai, was held on Saturday, June 20 with great solemnity and enthusiasm, marking the official induction of the newly elected student council.

The programme commenced with the lord’s prayer, followed by Bible reading and a special prayer, invoking God’s blessings upon the institution and its student leaders. The atmosphere was further enriched through a soulful session of praise and worship.

The gathering was formally welcomed through welcome speeches delivered in English, Hindi, and Kannada, reflecting the spirit of unity in diversity. A graceful welcome dance added colour and vibrancy to the occasion.

The chief guest, Gowtham Shetty, was honoured during the felicitation ceremony. One of the most significant moments of the programme was the handing over of the school flag, scarves, and badges, symbolising the transfer of leadership and responsibility to the newly elected council members.

The elected leaders then participated in the oath taking ceremony, pledging to discharge their duties with sincerity, commitment, and integrity. This was followed by the national pledge and the Ryan pledge, reaffirming the values of citizenship, discipline, and service.

The speech delivered by the newly elected president reflected gratitude and determination to lead with responsibility and dedication. The gathering was further inspired by the chief guest’s address, which encouraged students to become confident, responsible, and service-oriented leaders.

The programme concluded with the vote of thanks in English, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, staff members, parents, and students. The closing chorus added a memorable touch to the ceremony.

The event concluded with the rendition of the school anthem followed by the National Anthem. Inspired by the visionary leadership of founder chairman, sir Dr A F Pinto, the ceremony culminated in a tree plantation programme, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to environmental stewardship and nurturing socially responsible future leaders.
