Srinivas University IMC BBA students showcase strategic skills at interclass chess tournament

Mangaluru, Jun 20: The sports forum, Srinivas University, department of BBA, Institute of Management and Commerce (IMC), Pandeshwar, Mangaluru, successfully organised an Interclass Chess Tournament on June 18 in Room No. 402.

The tournament was conducted under the guidance of Prof Akshay, sports coordinator, BBA, IMC, with the objective of promoting strategic thinking, concentration, problem-solving abilities, and sportsmanship among students.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 16 students representing various BBA classes, including 12 boys and 4 girls. Participants displayed remarkable analytical skills, patience, and competitive spirit throughout the competition.

The tournament provided an excellent platform for students to engage in healthy competition and showcase their decision-making and planning abilities. The matches were conducted smoothly, and students actively supported and encouraged one another, contributing to a positive sporting atmosphere.

The interclass chess tournament concluded successfully, reflecting the sports forum’s commitment to fostering intellectual development, discipline, and extracurricular engagement among students.
