Mangaluru Qazi Al-Haj Thwaha Ahmed Musliyar passes away

Mangaluru, Jun 23: Mangaluru Qazi Al-Haj Thwaha Ahmed Musliyar passed away today after a prolonged illness. He had been undergoing treatment at a private hospital, but despite medical efforts, he breathed his last.

His mortal remains will be taken from the hospital to the Beliyepalli (Zeenath Baksh) Mosque in Mangaluru, where the Janazah bath and Janazah prayers will be conducted.

Later, the body will be taken to his residence in Kasaragod, where arrangements have been made for the final viewing. The final rites will be held at Darunnur, Kashipattan in Moodbidri.

He is survived by his wife, three sons, two daughters, and a large number of relatives and well-wishers.
