Mangaluru: Carrom championship sparks competitive spirit at Srinivas University

Mangaluru, Jun 29: The department of BBA, institute of management and commerce has organized A thrilling carrom competition successfully at Srinivas University, Pandeshwar Campus, on June 24 in Room No. 403. The event was conducted under the guidance of Prof Akshay, sports coordinator, BBA IMC, with the objective of promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy competition among students.

The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation, with students showcasing remarkable skill, focus, and competitive spirit. The matches were conducted smoothly, creating an exciting atmosphere and providing participants with an engaging platform to display their talents.

In the boys' category, Shamran and Sami (III BBA HN) secured the championship title, while Muncif and Younus Shaz (III BBA HN) finished as runners-up. In the girls' category, Deepthi and Ramya (II HN) emerged as winners, with Thrisha and Anvitha (II HN) claiming the runners-up position.

The event concluded with the announcement of winners and appreciation for all participants. Special acknowledgment was extended to Shilpa K, HOD, IMC, for her valuable support and encouragement in ensuring the success of the competition.

The carrom competition proved to be a memorable event, fostering camaraderie, teamwork, and sporting excellence among student.
