Udupi, Jul 2: Doctor's Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the Primary Section of Madhava Kripa School on July 1. Dr Mathangi, a dentist from KMC Manipal, graced the occasion as the chief guest.

Addressing the students, Dr Mathangi highlighted the importance of the saying, ‘Health is Wealth,’ and encouraged them to adopt healthy eating habits, engage in regular physical activity, and maintain good oral hygiene from an early age.

The celebration featured a thought-provoking skit depicting the significance of Doctor's Day and a vibrant dance performance by the students, both of which were well received by the audience.

Yuvan Shetty 1G welcomed the gathering, Pragalbha Ganesh Padakannya 3G compered the programme. Avani Pandey 3E spoke on the significance of Doctor's Day celebration and Mihir Sreejith 1C proposed the vote of thanks. The event was coordinated by teacher Vinaya Rao with the support of teachers Niruta and Shreya.

The programme was attended by the principal, Swati Kulkarni; vice principals, Kasturi Kamath and Jyothi Santhosh; along with the teaching and non-teaching staff.
