Missing contractor found dead near residence in Moodbidri; heart attack suspected

Moodbidri, Jul 4: A 34-year-old contractor who had been missing since Thursday was found dead near his residence at Bangerabettu, close to Ashraya Colony in Alangaru, on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Karthik Shetty, an unmarried man engaged in Hitachi and JCB contracting work.

Police visited the spot after receiving information and carried out a preliminary inspection. Initial investigations indicate that he may have died due to a heart attack. However, the exact cause of death will be ascertained after the post-mortem examination report is received.

A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.

    Sad to hear that a youg man died somewhere and cause is not known.Nowadays such unnatural deaths are going on increasing.Does our country slowly becoming like Columbien or Mexico?People die somewhere on seashore at night or on railway tracks?Police doubt something and noone knows?Postmartum results too are sometimes doubtful.Hope it will be cleared.May his soul rest in peace.Heartfelt sympathies to family.
