Udupi, Jul 10: Several students sustained minor injuries after a private school bus veered off the road and fell into a roadside ditch near Kodange Temple, Manipal on Friday, July 10.

The accident occurred while the bus was transporting students. As the vehicle neared the edge of the road, the driver reportedly lost control, causing the bus to plunge into the roadside ditch. Several children sustained minor injuries in the accident.

The school management acted swiftly by arranging immediate medical assistance and ensuring that all the injured students were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Speaking to Daijiworld.com, the school management said that none of the students sustained serious injuries and that all necessary steps were taken to ensure their safety. The management also assured that additional precautionary measures would be implemented to prevent such incidents in the future.

Manipal police rushed to the spot and conducted a preliminary inspection.
