Mangaluru, Jul 13: The annual general body meeting of the Parent Teachers Association of St Ann’s Higher Primary School and St Ann’s High School was jointly held on Saturday, June 11, in the school hall.
The programme was attended by a large number of parents.
The meeting was presided by the joint secretary of the schools, Sr Marie Evelyn AC, The chief guest was Fr Rupesh Ashok Madtha, PRO- diocese of Mangalore. In his inspiring address, he shared a few tips to help the parents build a strong bond with their children which in turn will help develop compassion and value-oriented young individuals.

The meeting commenced with a prayer and a welcome dance. A warm welcome was extended by Sr Annette AC. A comprehensive report highlighting the schools academic achievements, co-curricular activities and various initiatives undertaken during the academic year were presented by Lavina Lobo.
The headmistress, Sr Ruby D’Souza AC, acquainted the parents with the schools guidelines, policies, and expectations for the academic year, emphasizing the importance of their continued cooperation and support throughout the academic year.
A special moment of pride was the felicitation of the SSLC board examination toppers in English Medium, Aysha Reeha and in Kannada Medium, Soundarya.
The outstanding achievers were honoured with mementoes and prizes in recognition of their exceptional academic performance.
The new executive committee members of the PTA were introduced to the audience. Preethi Veigas proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was compered by Sarah Veigas. The meeting was brought to a closure with the singing of the national anthem.
