Mangaluru: Ladyhill Victoria High School celebrates the feast of Mount Carmel

Mangaluru, Jul 15: The feast of Mount Carmel was celebrated with solemnity and grandeur at Ladyhill Victoria High School on July 15 in the school hall. The program commenced with a prayer service, invoking the blessings of God and Mother of Mount Carmel. This was followed by a graceful welcome dance.

Sonali of class 10 introduced and welcomed the chief guest Sr Ida Barboza AC the administrator of Ladyhill Victoria ICSE School and extended a warm welcome to the audience. The event then featured a compelling skit illustrating how Mother Mount Carmel's intercession brings healing to a family and performs miracles through her divine intervention.

The event emphasized the importance of symbols associated with Mother of Mount Carmel, and explained their significance. A dance dedicated to Mother Mary was performed, followed by a group song and hymns honoring Mount Carmel. Sister Ida Barboza, the administrator of ICSE Lady Hill Victoria School, distributed certificates to the winners of the school-level competitions.

In her speech, she highlighted the significance of praying to Mount Carmel, shared miracles associated with Mount Carmel, and encouraged students to do good in life, excel in their studies, and strive to achieve great things. The program concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Chrislin.
