Mangaluru, Jul 15: Carmel School celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the patroness of the Carmelite family, with profound devotion, joyful enthusiasm, and reverence in the school auditorium. The celebration brought together students, teachers, and staff in a beautiful expression of faith, gratitude, and unity.
The programme commenced with a solemn floral offering at the feet of Mother Mary by Sr Rosevera, the principal, and Sr Savitha, the vice principal, invoking the loving protection and blessings of Our Lady of Mount Carmel upon the entire school community.
A serene prayer service set a reflective tone for the celebration, filling the atmosphere with peace and devotion. The melodious hymns and heartfelt prayers reminded everyone that God remains the unfailing anchor who guides every journey of life.


















The audience was then treated to a graceful welcome dance, radiating warmth and joy, followed by a cordial welcome address. A thought-provoking skit, ‘The Digital Desert and the Oasis,’ beautifully portrayed the importance of prayer, gratitude, family values, and meaningful relationships in an age dominated by technology. The students convincing performance left the audience with a powerful message that true happiness lies not in screens but in faith, love, and human connections.
The celebration continued with a vibrant entertainment dance that filled the auditorium with colour, rhythm, and youthful energy, adding a festive spirit to the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Sr Rosevera, the principal, delivered an inspiring message, urging everyone to make prayer the foundation of their lives and gratitude a daily habit. She encouraged the students to remain rooted in faith, cherish their families, practise humility and compassion, and uphold moral values that illuminate their path and help them navigate life's challenges with courage and hope.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing sincere appreciation to the management, principal, vice principal, teachers, students, and all those whose dedicated efforts made the celebration a memorable success.
The celebration was gracefully compered by Sanika, Laasya, Srenik and Mohammed Ihsan. The welcome address was delivered by Amima and Niyathi, while the vote of thanks was proposed by Insha Khadeeja, and Kanishk.
The Carmel feast concluded on a note of deep thanksgiving and renewed faith, leaving every heart inspired to walk the path of prayer, gratitude, service, and hope under the loving mantle of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
