New Delhi, Jul 16: Smartphone brand OnePlus is reportedly preparing to halt operations in the United States and Europe as part of a broader corporate restructuring at its parent company Oppo, according to a Bloomberg report.
The transition could reportedly begin as early as this week. Sources familiar with the matter said the restructuring is also expected to see Realme exit the Chinese market.
While OnePlus is likely to continue operations in China, its overseas withdrawal could eventually extend to other regions, including India, by 2027, according to reports.

Amid the speculation surrounding its global future, OnePlus is also said to be working on several new smartphones.
OnePlus 16
The OnePlus 16 is expected to launch in the third quarter of 2026, with reports suggesting a possible September unveiling.
Rumoured specifications include a 1.5K OLED display with a 240Hz refresh rate, a massive 9,000mAh battery and support for 120W fast charging. The device may be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite 6th Gen Pro processor and could feature a dual 200MP camera setup, including a main sensor and periscope telephoto lens.
OnePlus N6x
OnePlus India has reportedly confirmed the upcoming launch of the OnePlus N6x through a promotional microsite.
The smartphone is expected to be available via Amazon, though details regarding its specifications, design, pricing and launch date remain undisclosed.
OnePlus Ace 7 series
OnePlus is reportedly developing the next-generation Ace 7 series following the launch of the Ace 6 lineup.
According to leaks, engineering prototypes are being tested with Snapdragon processors, including models featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and a customised variant of the same processor.
OnePlus 16R
The successor to the OnePlus 15R, the OnePlus 16R, is expected to continue the company's focus on high-refresh-rate displays.
The device may feature an upgraded display with a refresh rate of up to 185Hz, although details remain limited. The smartphone is expected to arrive later, following OnePlus' usual launch cycle.
OnePlus Nord 7
The upcoming OnePlus Nord 7 5G is also expected to bring premium features to the Nord lineup.
Leaks suggest the smartphone could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It may run on Android 17 and feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 185Hz refresh rate.
The device is also rumoured to include a triple rear camera setup with a 100MP primary sensor, a 32MP front camera, a 9,000mAh battery and 100W SuperVOOC fast charging support.
Despite the reported restructuring, OnePlus has not officially confirmed any plans to exit the US or European markets.
