Mangaluru, Jul 20: St Agnes School (CBSE), Bendore, brought laurels to the institution by securing first place at VAIVIDHYAM – AICS Cultural Competition 2026–27, held under the theme ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat'. The prestigious inter-school cultural event was conducted on Saturday, July 11, at Bhoovaraha Atrium, Sharada Vidyalaya, Kodialbail, Mangaluru.

The winning team mesmerized the audience and judges with a vibrant cultural performance that beautifully showcased India’s unity in diversity. Their outstanding creativity, coordination, confidence, and teamwork earned them the top honour among participating schools.

The talented students who brought this glory to St Agnes School are Charvitha K, Shraddha D S, Ahana Adiga, Yashasvi S K, Tulasi B, Nidisha R Kulal, Manishika, Arya S, Shaivi H Amin, Kushi Rajaneesh Amin, Adhya D, Shreya C Padmashali, Shyna A D’Souza, Anshel George, and Angel.

The event was graced by J P Thuminad, noted actor and director of the Kannada and Tulu film industry, as the chief guest, and was presided over by Dr M B Puranik, president of the Sharada Group of Institutions, Mangaluru.
