New Delhi, Jul 21: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday assured that the future of students would not be compromised and vowed strict legal action against those responsible for irregularities in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET).
Speaking at the NDA's 'Mangal Mission' meeting, the Prime Minister said the government was committed to protecting the interests of students and ensuring accountability in the examination system.
"We will not allow anything to harm the future of students," Modi said, stressing that the Centre would take all necessary steps to safeguard the credibility of competitive examinations.

He also warned that those found guilty of irregularities in the NEET examination would face stringent punishment.
"Strict action will be taken against those responsible for the NEET irregularities. They will be sent to jail," the Prime Minister said.
Reiterating the government's commitment to maintaining transparency and fairness in the examination process, Modi said no one involved in malpractice would be spared.
