Srinivas University, Institute of Aviation Studies, organizes Essay Writing competition

Mangaluru, Jul 22: The Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, organised an Essay Writing Competition on July 15 for the students of BBA Aviation Management and BBA Aviation and Logistics Management. The competition was conducted on the theme “Role of AI in Building a Viksit Bharat by 2047.” The event provided students with an opportunity to express their views and ideas on the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in shaping India’s future and achieving the vision of a developed nation by 2047.

A total of 178 students participated enthusiastically in the competition and presented their perspectives through well-written and thought-provoking essays. The participants highlighted the potential of AI in various sectors, including education, healthcare, agriculture, transportation, defence, governance, and the aviation industry. The competition encouraged students to develop their creativity, critical thinking, research, and writing skills while creating awareness about the opportunities and challenges associated with the growing use of Artificial Intelligence.

The winners of the competition were Aashly Pratheesh of First Year BBA Aviation Management secured the first prize. Rohith Kunhiraman of Second Year BBA Aviation Management won the second prize. Adithya B. Gowda of Second Year BBA Aviation Management and Amulya K. S. of First Year BBA Aviation Management jointly secured the third prize.

The Competition was successfully conducted with the support and guidance of the Dr Pavithra Kumari, dean, Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, SWO, HODs, NSS coordinator, faculty members, student volunteers, and staff members of the Institute of Aviation Studies.
