Karkala, Jul 30: The boys' team of Christ King English Medium High School, Karkala, secured the runner-up position in the Karkala taluk-level high school boys' table tennis tournament organised by the Department of School Education, Government of Karnataka, in association with the Office of the Block Education Officer, Karkala, and Sundar Puranik Memorial High School, Pervaje.
Following their impressive performance, Tanmay Shetty of class 10 and Mohammed Ayan of class 8 have qualified to represent Karkala taluk at the district-level table tennis tournament.
The school team also comprised Advith D V of class 9, Shan D'Souza of class 10, and Ashwin S, who contributed to the team's runner-up finish.
The school management, principal, teachers, and parents congratulated the students on their achievement and wished the district-level qualifiers success in the upcoming competition.
