Udupi: 27-year-old model dies by suicide in Kalmady

Udupi, Aug 6: A 27-year-old model from Kalmady died by suicide at her residence on Tuesday, August 6.

The deceased has been identified as Krithi Bangera (27), a former hotel employee who was actively interested in modelling.

 

Krithi, who lived with her mother and sister in Kalmady, reportedly ended her life by hanging herself with a shawl in her room.

She had been at home for the past one month after quitting her job at a hotel in Manipal. Krithi had lunch with her mother on Tuesday afternoon. Later, while talking on the phone, she reportedly pushed her mother, stated that she was going to end her life, and locked herself in the bedroom. As she had made similar statements in the past, her mother did not take it seriously at first. However, when there was no response for a long time despite repeated knocks on the door, she was found hanging.

Family members stated that she had been appearing highly stressed over the past few days.

A case has been registered at the Malpe police station based on a complaint filed by her sister.

    So sad .she died too early.Find her parents,mother etc.should have poked more to ge t details when she many times told going to end life.She must have crying for help?And noone considered it seriously decided to end life.At the end noone know the reason?Who knows she lost job?or in love?May her soul rest in peace.Heartfelt sympathies to her family.no suicide note?

    Why are you assuming reasons 🤔 behind the sad suicide. There should be reason and it's police departments duty or responsibility 🤔 to resolve the mystery if any.

    Om shanti to the deceased soul of this young lady ! Well written Damun dhar sir. Children should grab opportunities right. In the meantime men/women especially young generation should not hug certain things, which will lead them to stress/depression... ! Everything looks nice and velvetty from far. When you go near to that, velvetty ground also ooze out terrible heat. Common sense prevails in everyone! Use it, take guidance from your parents and save your life instead of losing precious lives !! Every matter can be discussed either with the parents if not with the concerned doctors..!

    Parents should understand their children. Parents love their children. They have good intentions. They want their children to do well. But it is very important to understand the pressure children are in. Nothing/nobody is more important than ones well being. We strive for many things in life. But if the life is lost or if we're living in distress all the achivements do not matter.

    Krithi was going through stress for the fast feew days and had shown some inter action with parents earlier. May be she was having some serious issues in life but was taking elders help. Our lif inspite having immense wealth cannot be guaranteed that all is well in life. We need mental peace and prayers to sustain peace to continue life. If any sorrow or mental restlessness, we must take third persons help. Rest in Almighty Gods ✋️ hand. 🙏

    Does anyone has 200% Gurantee that life will be cushy without any obstacles, challenges and problems??????…….Higher you go bigger challenges, problems and heart breaks. Challenges and problems should be taken as opportunities that makes one stronger to face the future. Without exams and its related hardship there is no going higher in class so it is in life. Take it Easy. Have fun. Enjoy. But never give up Trying.
