Bangkok, Aug 7: Two people, including the suspected gunman, were killed and four others injured after a shooting incident at a school in Thailand’s Nonthaburi province on Friday, officials said.
According to reports, Nonthaburi Provincial Police Commander Lt Col Dechrapee Kongdee confirmed the casualties and said the suspected shooter died by suicide following the attack.
The incident took place at Debsirin Nonthaburi School in Bang Kruai district, located north of Bangkok. Police identified the suspected attacker as a student of the same school.

Among the injured were one teacher and three students. Following reports of gunfire, police and emergency teams rushed to the campus and launched an investigation into the incident.
Images released by emergency responders showed students being evacuated from the school premises as ambulances arrived at the scene. Emergency personnel were seen providing medical assistance to the injured.
Debsirin Nonthaburi School had around 3,100 students and 147 teachers during the 2025 academic year, according to district authorities.
Officials have not yet revealed the motive behind the shooting or details of the events that led to the attack. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
