Bengaluru, Aug 8: The much-awaited trailer of ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’, starring ‘Rocking Star’ Yash, was released at 7 pm on Friday, August 8, generating considerable buzz among his fans.
Written and directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film is scheduled to hit theatres on August 26. The movie has been made in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and English.
The trailer clocked millions of views within an hour of its release, reflecting the huge anticipation surrounding the film.
By 8 pm, the Hindi version had recorded 11 lakh views, while the Kannada version had garnered 7.5 lakh views. The Tamil version registered 2.6 lakh views, the Telugu version 3.7 lakh views and the Malayalam version 90,000 views.
Yash plays a dual role in the film. He is joined by ‘Lady Superstar’ Nayanthara, along with Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth.
The 4.38-minute trailer showcases the film’s grand scale and production quality. The cinematography by Rajeev Ravi and background score by Ravi Basrur have also caught the attention of moviegoers.
Built around a revenge-driven storyline, the trailer is packed with twists and turns, keeping Yash’s fans on the edge of their seats and further raising expectations for the film.
