Mangaluru, Aug 11: "Medicine Offers Unparalleled Job Satisfaction", Dr Sajjan Shenoy inspires medical aspirants at Expert PU College, Valachil' on August 9.

Highlighting the profound impact and unique rewards of the medical profession, Dr Sajjan Shenoy, consultant rheumatologist and immunologist at KMC Mangaluru, addressed the students at the college during an innovative session titled "Making of a Doctor."

Delivering a special address, Dr Shenoy offered both inspiration and practical guidance to the young medical aspirants in attendance. "Medicine is a noble career that allows your potential to impact human life in a way that is truly unique," he stated, emphasizing that the resulting job satisfaction in the field is unparalleled.

Transitioning from motivation to academic strategy, Dr Shenoy provided the students with a comprehensive breakdown of the NEET examination process. He also detailed the current seat matrices across various medical colleges to help students better plan their academic journeys.

The session took a nostalgic turn when Dr Shenoy fondly recalled his own days as a student at Expert. Expressing gratitude for the strong foundation he received, he noted that "discipline was the first and best lesson" he learned under the institution's able guidance.

The guest lecture culminated in a highly interactive question-and-answer segment. Students put forward numerous queries regarding medical preparation and careers, receiving direct, clarifying insights from the specialist.

Subramanya Udupa H C, principal of Expert PU College, Valachil, attended the programme. Druthi V Hegde, vice principal (admin), felicitated the guest speaker with a memento. Anitha P Shetty, chief resident mentor, along with other faculty members, were also present.
