New Delhi, Aug 13: Google has unveiled its latest Pixel smartphone lineup, introducing the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and the foldable Pixel 11 Pro Fold with upgraded cameras, improved durability and enhanced artificial intelligence features.

The new devices are powered by Google's Tensor G6 chipset and feature IP68-rated protection, upgraded 5x telephoto cameras and expanded Gemini AI capabilities. Google said the phones are designed to provide more personalised assistance while also improving photography and everyday performance.

"Today we unveiled Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, and Pixel 11 Pro XL," Google said in a blog post, highlighting major camera upgrades, enhanced durability and its latest Tensor processor designed to run the newest Gemini Nano model.

Google has increasingly integrated artificial intelligence into its Pixel smartphones since 2023, and the latest series further expands the role of Gemini in photography and other everyday tasks.

The Pixel 11 features a redesigned camera system with a camera bar that is 40 per cent thinner than that of the Pixel 10. The rear setup includes a 48MP wide camera, a 13MP ultrawide camera and a 10.8MP 5x telephoto camera, while a 10.5MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.

Google has also introduced a new Magic Capture mode, which can automatically capture a series of photographs and video with a single tap of the shutter button. The company said the feature is designed to help users record moments without repeatedly pressing the shutter.

Another addition is Instant Night Sight, which is designed to capture photographs in low-light conditions more quickly. According to Google, the feature reduces the need for users to keep the phone completely still while an exposure is being taken.

The Pixel 11 is available in Pistachio, Hibiscus, Frost and Obsidian finishes. The Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL come in Canyon, Fog, Olive and an all-matte Obsidian finish.

In India, the Pixel 11 starts at Rs 89,999 for the base variant, while the top variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at Rs 1,04,999.

The Pixel 11 Pro starts at Rs 1,19,999, with the top-end model priced at Rs 1,34,999. The Pixel 11 Pro XL starts at Rs 1,34,999, while its top variant is priced at Rs 1,49,999.

With the new lineup, Google is seeking to strengthen its position in the premium smartphone segment by combining upgraded camera hardware with deeper AI integration and its latest in-house Tensor platform.
