Mangaluru, Aug 13: As part of India’s 80th Independence Day celebrations, Mount Carmel Kindergarten, Mangaluru, organised a vibrant series of patriotic competitions for its youngest learners, providing them with a joyful opportunity to express their love for the nation through dance, music and India’s rich cultural heritage.
The LKG little ones set the stage abuzz with patriotic fervour during the Patriotic Dance Competition. Dressed in colourful patriotic costumes, they presented individual performances to patriotic songs, displaying confidence, energy and enthusiasm. Their lively expressions and graceful movements added vibrancy to the celebrations.










































The UKG stars embarked on a colourful journey across India through “Bharat Darshan on Tiny Feet”, a fancy dress competition. Dressed in the traditional attire of different Indian states, they proudly represented India’s diverse cultural heritage. Each child also spoke a few words about the state or region represented, making the event a delightful celebration of India’s unity in diversity.
The nursery tots brought a delightful touch of innocence and joy to the celebrations through a 'Patriotic Action Song' competition. With cheerful expressions, simple actions and enthusiastic voices, they brought patriotic songs to life and won hearts with their adorable performances.
The school sincerely appreciates the wholehearted support of the parents, whose time, creativity and efforts helped the children prepare with confidence and participate enthusiastically. The guidance and encouragement of the teachers also played an important role in making each competition a joyful and meaningful experience for the little ones.
The competitions served as a meaningful prelude to the school’s Independence Day celebrations, nurturing patriotism among its youngest learners. With tiny steps, little voices and hearts full of love for India, the kindergarteners brought the spirit of freedom alive in their own special way.
