Vishwas Lloyd Carvalho elected Students’ Council president of Sri Poornaprajna Evening College

Udupi, Aug 18: Vishwas Lloyd Carvalho, a final-year BCom student from Barkur Kachur, has been elected as the president of the Students’ Council of Sri Poornaprajna Evening College, Udupi, for the academic year 2026-27.

His election comes in a significant year for the NAAC ‘A’ accredited institution, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary. The formal inauguration of the Students’ Council will be held on Thursday, August 20, at 5 pm at the Poornaprajna Auditorium.

Sri Vishwapriya Theertha Swamiji, senior pontiff of Shree Adamaru Matha, will grace the occasion with his blessings. Dignitaries from the college management and the wider Udupi Shree Adamaru Matha Education Council will also be present.

As president, Vishwas Lloyd Carvalho will lead the newly formed students’ council along with the other elected office-bearers. The council will function under the guidance of the college’s student welfare officers and management, with a focus on promoting student welfare and fostering unity among students.

Well-wishers have extended their congratulations to Vishwas Lloyd Carvalho on this achievement, wishing him a fulfilling journey through his student life and hoping that under his leadership, the students' body works cohesively for the betterment of both the student community and society at large. His parents, the talented couple, Sushma and Praveen Carvalho, Barkur have also received congratulatory greetings on their son's achievement.
