Chief Minister Hemant Soren had earlier announced the cancellation of the JSSC-CGL examination following protests by students. He also announced the cancellation of all examinations conducted by TDPL since 2014 and the results published by the agency.

Soren said the decisions were taken during a marathon Cabinet meeting chaired by him. The examination reforms committee will be headed by senior IAS officer Amitabh Kaushal.

The government said the measures are aimed at strengthening the examination system, ensuring transparency in recruitment and addressing concerns raised over irregularities in competitive examinations.
