Mumbai, Aug 20: Internet personality Orry appears to have taken a dig at actor Gaurav Khanna’s wife Akanksha Chamola after she spoke publicly about their ongoing divorce. Orry, who participated alongside Gaurav in Khatron Ke Khiladi 15, accused Akanksha of using the actor’s name for publicity and views.

Akanksha had revealed during her stint on Lock Upp 2 that she and Gaurav were heading for divorce. She later told NewsX that the divorce was “definitely happening”, explaining that the separation process had begun before she entered the reality show.

Orry reacted to a post by The Glitz Media on the issue and alleged that Akanksha was “milking” Gaurav’s fame. He claimed that he had spent around a month sharing a vanity van with Gaurav during the filming of Khatron Ke Khiladi in Cape Town and said he was unaware that the actor was married.

“She is just blackening his good name and milking his fame for her own views,” Orry wrote, while also questioning Akanksha's public statements about the actor.

Orry further alleged that Akanksha was taking advantage of Gaurav's reputation and described her in harsh terms. His comment subsequently went viral on social media, including on X.

The internet personality also mentioned Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 contestant Shagun Sharma in the same comment. Shagun had earlier accused Gaurav of bullying her during the reality show.

Addressing that allegation, Orry said he believed he had bullied Shagun more than Gaurav did during the show and claimed that they remained good friends. He added that teasing Shagun was part of the entertainment because of the reactions she gave.

Neither Gaurav nor Akanksha has publicly responded to Orry's remarks so far.

Meanwhile, Akanksha had earlier opened up about her marriage and divorce plans during her appearance on Lock Upp 2. Speaking to NewsX, she said the divorce had been in the works even before she entered the show and before Gaurav participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi.

Akanksha explained that the couple had not yet completed the formalities because of conflicting schedules, professional commitments and other practical difficulties. She also said that the situation was not as simple as people might assume, particularly when both partners are actors managing demanding careers.

Gaurav Khanna and Akanksha Chamola married on November 24, 2016, in Kanpur. Their relationship has attracted renewed attention following Akanksha's statements on Lock Upp 2 and the subsequent social media discussion.

The latest controversy has now widened after Orry's remarks, bringing another Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 participant into the conversation, although the allegations and comments remain unaddressed by the couple themselves.
