Kadaba: Tree falls on two-wheeler, pillion rider seriously injured

Kadaba, Aug 21: A pillion rider suffered serious injuries after a tree fell on a two-wheeler near Manibhand on the Gundya-Sulya state highway on Wednesday.

The injured man was identified as Divakar Kodenkiri, a resident of Kodenkiri. He was travelling as a pillion rider on a two-wheeler ridden by Vinod Hollaru when the tree suddenly fell on the vehicle.

Local residents rushed to the spot and shifted the injured man to a hospital, where he received treatment.

The incident has raised concerns over dangerous trees standing along the roadside. Local residents have urged the authorities to identify and remove hazardous trees along the highway, particularly around Manibhand, to prevent similar incidents and ensure the safety of motorists.
