Mangaluru: 21 detained Bangladeshis to be handed over to BSF for deportation

Mangaluru, Aug 22: A team of 30 police personnel has been deputed to escort 21 detained Bangladeshi nationals from Karnataka to West Bengal, where they will be handed over to the Border Security Force (BSF) for further action and deportation.

The team is scheduled to travel by bus to Bengaluru before proceeding by train on August 23 to Malda in West Bengal. Upon reaching Malda, the detained Bangladeshis will be handed over to the BSF.

The handover is expected to be completed by August 26, following which the BSF will take further action in accordance with the prescribed procedures.
