Karkala resident Fayaz Ahmed passes away in Doha

Doha, Aug 30: Fayaz Ahmed (57), a native of Karkala in Udupi district, passed away in Doha, Qatar on Sunday, August 30.

He had served as the finance manager at Bin Omran Company for the past 30 years. A soft-spoken, humble, and respected personality, Fayaz Ahmed was actively involved in several Indian community organisations and forums in Qatar.

He had served as the president of KMCA Qatar, Hidaya Foundation Qatar, and several other Indian community organisations.

Prominent community leaders in Qatar, including Saqib Raza Khan, Dr Ravi Shetty, Ashmath Ali, Abdullah Monu, Vijay K, Tulukoota founder member M Iqbal Manna, and several others, expressed shock and deep sorrow over his sudden demise.

Fayaz Ahmed is survived by his wife, son, and a large number of friends and well-wishers.

    Assalamualaikum By the grace of Almighty Allah, all the documents are completed for the burial of Fayaz Bhai at Abu Hamour burial site. Burial will take place InShaAllah after Magrib Salah. *Magrib Azan : 5:55pm* Followed by Magrib Namaz and then Janaza Namaz at Abuhamour cemetery Masjid. We have arranged for viewing of Body at the *Mortuary at 3:00pm* to 3:30pm @ *Hazm Mebariek Hospital, Industrial Area.* Those who would like to see the body of Fayaz Bhai kindly be there at 3:00pm at the Mortuary. The Embulance will proceed with the body to burial site at 3:30pm for Gusul bath. We pray for the Magfirah of Janab Fayaz Bhai.

    Rest in peace my friend Fayaz, just cannot believe that you left us too early, we met 3 weeks back in Mangalore, my parents had a good time talking to you and appreciated your simplicity and humbleness, all those who knew you @ Kiran's office in Mangalore are in shock...     It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that I mourn the untimely passing of my dear friend, Fayaz Bhai. Fayaz was much more than a friend to me. He was my childhood companion, my college mate, and someone whose friendship/brotherhood I cherished throughout life. His warmth, humility, kindness, and genuine concern for others made him a remarkable human being. He shared a special bond with my family. Every time he visited town, he would make it a point to meet my parents and me whenever I am around. Those moments of laughter, conversations, and companionship will remain treasured memories forever. Fayaz had a rare gift of making everyone feel valued and welcomed. His untimely departure leaves a void that can never truly be filled. Not only I, but countless friends whose lives he touched, will deeply miss his presence, his friendship, and his infectious smile. My heartfelt condolences go to his beloved wife and son, Fakhir, and to all members of his family. May Allah grant them strength, patience, and comfort to bear this immense loss. May almighty Allah shower His mercy upon Fayaz Bhai, forgive his shortcomings, and grant him the highest place in Jannah. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un. Farewell, my dear friend. Your memories will live on in our hearts forever, and you will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing you.
