Karkala: Police trace, arrest man after 42 years on the run in Maharashtra

Karkala, Sep 2: Karkala Town police have traced and arrested Ravindra Shetty (65), a resident of Palli village who had allegedly been absconding for around 42 years, in Maharashtra.

Shetty was arrested at Mulund West in Maharashtra on September 1, following efforts by the Karkala Town police to trace him. He was subsequently brought before the Karkala court on September 2.

The court released Shetty on bail, according to a police release.
