Udupi, Sep 4: St Mary’s English Medium School (SMES), Kannarpady, organised a flower arrangement competition at the J P Tauro Hall on September 3, providing students with an opportunity to showcase their creativity, imagination and artistic talent through floral art.

The competition was conducted in two categories — Market flower arrangement and garden flower arrangement. A total of 261 students from grades 1 to 12 participated enthusiastically in the event.

Of the participants, 145 students competed in the market flower arrangement category, while 116 students took part in the garden flower arrangement category.

The hall came alive with vibrant colours, innovative concepts and beautifully crafted floral arrangements. The students displayed remarkable creativity and artistic expression while highlighting the beauty and charm of nature.

The competition provided a colourful and engaging platform for students to explore their artistic abilities and appreciate the beauty of flowers through creative expression.
