Mangaluru: National Hindi Day observed at Lourdes Central School

Mangaluru, Sep 14: In connection with National Hindi Day, the Lourdes Central School Kindergarten section organized various competitions for the students of KG 1 and KG2 on September 11.

The main objective of this activity is to promote and create interest in the children towards learning Hindi language. KG 1 students recited various rhymes with actions under the topic ‘Hindi Bal Kavita’ which was held in the LCS conference hall. The KG 2 students introduced themselves under the topic 'Mera Parichay' which was held at KG hall.

As it was a subject enrichment activity all children participated enthusiastically, and one could see the joy on their faces as they spoke and recited confidently in Hindi. Academic co-ordinator Lynette encouraged the children and appreciated their efforts and hard work.

The programme ended by expressing gratitude towards the judges by the children.

The activity was organised under the leadership of Prema Menezes and Kavya.
