Mangaluru, Sep 16: St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), Vamanjoor students exhibited excellent performance in VTU state level karate championship organised by RVCA, Bengaluru on September 11 & 12.
The teams showcased remarkable skill and determination under the guidance of Vaneesha V Rodrigues, physical education director (PED) and Sudheer, assistant PED.
Achievements:
- Bhuvi G S – III sem MBA – 1st place in below 55 kg kumite & 3rd place in Kata
- Roncia Gwyneth Lobo – I year ECE – 1st place in below 61 kg kumite
- Chinmay Keshava Poojary – I year VLSI – 2nd place in below 67 kg kumite
- Mohammed Yusha – I year CSE – 3rd place in below 75 kg kumite
