Mangaluru, Sep 17: A car lost control and overturned at a curve near the Paneer church close to Natekal on Thursday morning.
The driver of the car is said to be a student of a private medical college in Deralakatte. The accident occurred when he was travelling in his Swift car from Deralakatte towards Beeri via the Paneer road. He reportedly lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a curve near the Paneer church, causing the car to overturn.
The overturned vehicle came to a halt after leaning against a nearby electrical transformer pole. Fortunately, a major tragedy was averted, and the driver managed to escape with only minor injuries.
Mescom officials visited the spot and conducted an inspection following the incident.
